thoughts..

-Rach, it was really nice to be able to talk to you at length again, about everything under the sun. You are now more open to me than before, I could sense it. Well, I think that you are still the same old Rach in some ways, still pretty as ever, but also changed in many ways. :)

-A dear friend of mine from my hometown going to move to KEVII soon. I hope she doesnt go..because if she goes, the noodle cooking gang will be lessened in numbers by one..LOL..

-Kinda shy to say this in person XD : To my dear friends, studies consuming? Everything not going your way? Feel free to talk to me, I am always willing to lend a listening ear, in fact I am really honoured to do so. And no I am not suffering from lack of attention (replace that by the medical jargon here) XD. Although I am not the best provider of solutions..

NO NAMING OF TOP STUDENT THIS YEAR

This, it says, is because all the top scorers have their own strengths and weaknesses.

“We have 105 candidates who performed very well,” director-general Datuk Dr Ahamad Sipon said when announcing the analysis of the results at the ministry yesterday.

“One hundred of them are the best among those who obtained 1As in all subjects taken while five are special students with between five As and nine As.”

Asked if Yeo Jie Ming from Bukit Mertajam High School in Penang was the best overall student, being the only one with 16 1As, he said this was not necessarily the case as the ministry looked at the raw scores.

Malaysian Examinations Syndicate director Datuk Dr Adi Badiozaman Tuah stressed that it would be unfair to name one student as the best since all 105 had their strengths and weaknesses.

Dr Ahamad also said the ministry would prefer students not to take more than 12 subjects.

He said the trend of taking many subjects was meaningless.

“If a student takes Biology, Chemistry and Physics, there is no point in taking General Science too as its syllabus is more basic compared with the three subjects,” he said.

He also said girls did better than boys on the whole but declined to reveal the breakdown.

Doing this as tagged by Syen.

6 unique things about me.

1. I dieted like crazy before. 2 years ago, I ate only a quarter plate of a rice per meal, with lightly stir fried veggies and almost no meat. Yeah, that was the life I used to lead.

2. I am a car freak. I could even remember some of the specs of Lambos that I love, right down to every detail. I used to have over 40 toy cars when I was small. The photo of me posing with all the cars proudly is still with me.

3. I love watching rugby, not many people love to do that. I appreciate the beauty of backward passing, tackling and running.

4. I scaled a steep mountain at 4AM in the morning before. Had to use torchlight just to see the way. Just to watch the sunrise...but alas, it was blocked by the clouds.

5. I can be a neatness freak at times, but not always. When I have the mood, I would clean my room until it is squeakily clean. At other times I would just heck care. But still, the condition of my room is far and way better than last sem.

6. I like to say the words "Thank You" even if it is just for something that even the giver finds insignificant. I dunt know why. LOL.

so that completes my taggg...mission accomplished :P

A good day..

This morning got an SMS that really surprised me pleasantly.

Sis got a new job helping out the refugee resettlement for the UNITED NATIONS!

she didnt expect to pass the interview. But by God's grace she did it! And now she finally got a job that she really wanted to do, and to lead a life she has always wanted to lead. She had been having a hard time as an accountant, it is not what she wants..

Contrary to what people think, working for United Nations is not getting a measly pay and devoting all your life for the cause of goodwill and charity. The pay is well, higher than my sister's accountant job, and it is non-taxable because UN is an NGO.

And what's more, Dad was happy for her too! So happy he even paid off the laptop loss for her.

And I am also so happy for her. :)

Been feeling out of touch with Him these few weeks, due to heavy workload and also some other problems. But this morning, here He comes, presenting me with a good news, and reminding me about His Presence, Power, Grace and Glory by blessing my sis with a job that she enjoys.

God works in awesome and wonderful ways by weaving his wand of magic, often at the times we least expect it, in many areas of our lives.

Its good.....its good~ :)

-getting webcam. can communicate better with my friends overseas.

-futsal. trying out playing futsal with.....Reebok jogging shoes. Old futsal shoes became crocodile.. T_T good to be "back in action" :P

-can finally sleep!
