why do i love Man Yoo

simple reasons. note that i am not one of those fair weather fans, but i supported this team through all their years of lack of success on the pitch, especially during the 2002 to 2005 years.

the comebacks that have thrilled me so throughout the years i decided too support them.
*Bayern 1-2 Man United (98/99,2 goals in the last 2 minutes of injury time to win the European Cup)

*Juventus 2-3 Man United (98/99, 2-0 down inside 12 minutes, pegged Juventus back to 2-2 at half time, then managaed to get the winning third goal through Andy Cole. And they were on their way to Barcelona. One of the greatest performances by a United team in recent years.)

*Tottenham 3-5 Man United (3-0 down at half time, away from home, then scored 5 in the second half as they overpowered Tottenham..a performance of epic proportions, although they didnt win anything that year(if i am not mistaken) .)

*Everton 2-4 Man United (yesterday. 2-0 down at half time, managed to fightback in the second half...4 big goals. simply amazing fighting spirit and winning desire.)

and also performances that just blew your mind.
*Man United 7-1 Roma (an attacking performance on a night when everything the United team touched turn into gold/goal. A night when United stake their claim as real challengers of the title, when they struck fear into every potential opponent's heart.)

*and also the narrow 1-0 wins over their greatest rivals...i dont know why, but United come out of these ties mostly with favourable results.

*Man United 3-2 AC Milan (without the quartet of first choice defenders, United conceded 2 goals but still managed to win the difficult tie against one of the top Italian sides with the magnificent Kaka. The brilliance of Rooney saved ManYoo!)

*Man United 3-4 Real Madrid. (they lost this match, but what was really impressive was the fact that they really went down fighting, the desitre of David Beckham to help Man Yoo as he came on as a substitute, and could have so easily won the tie if not for the big Brazillian Ronaldo, who helped himself to a big hattrick on that day.)

i supported the Red Devils ever since i started watching football, about 8 years ago. the times of joy and elation that they brought me over these years has been nothing short of fantastic. and I am happy for them this season as they ae still keeping the Treble dream alive by grinding out performances from their gifted but tired legs.

go on fighting Man Yoo, the lads will win at least 2 trophies this season! Hopefully!! XD
